Why Louisville?

Julie is particularly enthusiastic about the growth and charm of Louisville - for its appeal as both a Midwestern, yet somewhat Southern metropolis town.  Louisville offers a thriving downtown with the best in dining, entertainment, and the arts, while at the same time Louisville is considered a City of Parks (21st Century Parks), with one of the nation's largest park expansions underway.

Each neighborhood in Louisville has something unique to offer.  From the eccentric, eclectic energy of the Highlands to the history and charm of Old Louisville, you will find that Louisville has a little bit of something for everyone.

Relocating to Louisville?

America's "Most Livable" large city, as named by the U.S. Conference of Mayors, Louisville is home to several Fortune 1000 Companies including Brown-Forman, Humana, Kindred Healthcare, UPS, Yum! Brands, and PharMerica.  Louisville is a community of vibrant arts and crafts, rich history and beautiful scenery.  It provides the conveniences of a large city with a small town feel.  The cost of living is consistently below the national average, making it more affordable to own a home. Additionally, it is an ideal location for families, ranking as one of the safest cities in the country and having been named as one of the Best Cities for Relocating Families.

Why Anchorage?

Julie, like many of her clients turned neighbors, was drawn to Anchorage's unique blend of history, charm, and small town hospitality. After spending some time talking with Julie, you will grow more appreciative of the things that make Anchorage such a wonderful place to work and live; the rich history of decade-old stone walls, quaint antique cottages, century-old horse farms, and alluring river vistas. Not to mention, when in Anchorage, you feel as though you have stepped back to a simpler time, to a place where everyone knows your name and a sense of community still thrives.

Julie also highlights other features of life in Anchorage that make it particularly attractive such as its superb locality, exceptional K-8 school system (which her children attend), and its unique blend of residents-- all attracted by the allure of this fabled, picturesque community. Julie punctuates her praise for her beloved Anchorage by concluding, “Anchorage is a wonderful, charming town. There is no place I'd rather live.”

Two new restaurants enhance Anchorage's community

Anchorage resident, Kevin Grangier, has completed work on the former Train Station to convert the historic structure into The Village Anchor Pub and Roost.  Grangier recently opened the Sea Hag which is a casual sports bar to include big screen Tvs and out door seating. The main floor hosts an elegant fine dining establishment, The Village Anchor. (http://www.villageanchor.com)

Anchorage resident, Bruce Lake, has opened the Anchorage Cafe at the building resembling the old interurban station.  Bruce recently returned from a trip to the Pacific Northwest where he researched the coffee art-form concept he's undertaking for his caffeinated beverage and lighter fare establishment.

The restaurants' fares don't compete, but compliment each other and provide Anchorage residents with places where neighbors can meet and enjoy the delectable delights of two very unique culinary ventures.
